During the use of pneumatic valves, some auxiliary parts are usually required to improve the performance of pneumatic valves or improve the efficiency of pneumatic valves. Common accessories for pneumatic valves include: air filters, reversing solenoid valves, limit switches, electrical positioners , etc. In pneumatic technology, the three air source processing components of air filters, pressure reducing valves, and oil mist collectors are assembled together and called pneumatic triplexes . They are used to purify and filter the air source entering the pneumatic instrument and reduce the pressure to the rated air source pressure supplied by the instrument, which is equivalent to the function of the power transformer in the circuit.


Types of pneumatic valve accessories:

Double-acting pneumatic actuator: two-position control of valve opening and closing. (Double acting)

Spring return actuator: When the circuit or gas line is cut off or fails, the valve automatically opens or closes. (Single acting)

 

Single electric solenoid valve: the valve opens or closes when power is supplied, and closes or opens when power is cut off (explosion-proof type available).

Double-electric solenoid valve: When one coil is energized, the valve opens; when the other coil is energized, the valve closes; it has a memory function (explosion-proof type available).
 

Limit switch transmitter: transmits the switch position signal of the valve over long distance (explosion-proof type available).

Electric positioner: adjusts and controls the medium flow of the valve according to the size of the current signal (standard 4-20mA) (explosion-proof type is available).

Pneumatic positioner: adjusts and controls the medium flow of the valve according to the size of the air pressure signal (standard 0.02-0.1MPa).

 

Electrical converter: converts current signal into air pressure signal and is used in conjunction with pneumatic positioner (explosion-proof type available).

Air source processing triplex: including air pressure reducing valve, filter and oil mist collector, which can stabilize the air source pressure, clean it and lubricate the moving parts.

Manual operating mechanism: Automatic control can be manually operated under abnormal circumstances.
 

 

Selection of pneumatic valve accessories:

Pneumatic valves are complex automated control instruments, consisting of a variety of pneumatic components. Users need to make detailed selections based on control needs.

1. Pneumatic actuator: ① double-acting, ② single-acting, ③ model specifications, ④ action time.

2. Solenoid valve: ① single-control solenoid valve , ② double-control solenoid valve, ③ operating voltage, ④ explosion-proof type.
